User Interface
When you launch the app for the first time, you will notice three distinct tabs. The INSTRUMENTS CONTROL PANEL is positioned on the left side of the interface. On the right side, you can find a BEATS pane, while the left side features an APP CONTROL pane. Each Musical instrument is Designed to play a specific range of notes, and in the Settings section, you can customize how many notes you wish to display. If the checkbox is selected, sound will be activated; if it's not checked, there will be silence. Creating instrumental beats involves checking and unchecking various boxes accordingly.
Application Control Panel
- Power switch: toggles all instruments on or off.
- Checkbox selection: enables you to select or deselect all instruments at once.
- Mode: choose between drum beat or drum fill to allow composition creation.
- Pressing the Compose button generates either a drum beat or fill for the selected instruments; if no instruments are chosen, all available instruments are used.
- Tempo: adjusts the tempo in beats per minute.
- Play button: staRTS or stops the drum Rhythm playback.
Instrument Control Panel
For each instrument listed:
- Instrument name: clicking it allows you to hear an Audio sample.
- ON/OFF switch: controls whether the instrument is active or inactive.
- Checkbox selection: utilize this to select or deselect the instrument, which is applicable during press Actions like Write or Shift left/right.

Despite its rich capabilities, the tool is user-friendly and even accommodates beginners effectively. Furthermore, users have the liberty to select their preferred songs, which are regularly updated according to diverse Themes, and embark on their drum-playing journey. Additionally, you can pick from an array of different drum types that align with your unique playing style, along with customizing the drum sounds to suit your artistic preferences.
Settings
- Number of notes: select the total number of notes (ranging from 1-64).
- Instruments: choose which instruments to include in your project.
- Instrument volume: adjust the overall sound levels of the instruments.
- Meter signature numerator: indicates the top number of the time signature; for instance, in a 3/4 meter, this value is 3.
- Meter signature denominator: refers to the bottom number of the time signature; again, in a 3/4 meter, this becomes 4.
- Load last project on app startup: when enabled, the most recent project will auto-load upon opening the app.
- Number of cycles in automatic mode: determines how many times the drum rhythm plays before a re-composition occurs.

Methods for Creating Drum Rhythms
- Manual method: check the notes for each drum instrument yourself.
- Automatic method: simply tap Compose, and an algorithm will create a drum rhythm or fill for you.
Rhythm Panel
Each instrument assigned has a predefined number of notes. You can modify the number of notes via Settings. When the checkbox is marked, sound will be on, while unchecking it results in silence. By marking and unmarking the checkboxes, you construct the rhythm for the instrument.
Menu
- New: initiates a fresh drum template.
- Open: accesses a previously saved drum text file.
- Save: preserves the current drum rhythms as both MIDI and text files.
- Save As: Stores current drum rhythms under a specified name in MIDI and text formats.
- Clear All: removes all instruments from the project.
- Clear Selected: deletes only the instruments that are selected (with the corresponding checkbox checked).
- Shift Left: moves the selected instruments one position to the left.
- Shift Right: shifts the selected instrument one position to the right.
- Start/Stop Automatic Mode: toggles the automatic mode that continuously plays and re-composes the drums.
- Settings: opens the settings menu.
- Help: displays the application manual.
- Exit: closes the app completely.
