Passive Ports
The passive port range staRTS from the initial port (default 50000) extending to an additional 128 ports if UPnP is enabled, or up to the next 256 ports when UPnP is disabled. Generally speaking:
- 50000 - 50128 when UPnP is enabled
- 50000 - 50256 when UPnP is disabled
From version 0.13.0 onWards, the starting port is set to 60000.

Permissions Needed
√ WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: This permission is essential for the FTP Server to access files on your device.
√ INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: These permissions are necessary for users to connect to the FTP Server.
√ Location (Coarse location): Required only if a user wishes for the server to automatically activate upon detecting Wi-Fi on Android P and newer versions.
Application Features
This robust application enables you to operate an FTP Server directly from your phone, facilitating file access/sharing over the Internet for yourself or friends.
Additionally, it allows you to avoid using the USB port of your device, potentially prolonging its Lifespan. Often referred to as WiFi file transfer or wireless file management, all functionalities within the app are completely free.

Supported FTP Clients
√ Any FTP clients available for Windows, Mac OS, Linux, or web Browsers can be utilized to connect to this FTP Server.

• Windows Explorer: If the user is not anonymous, kindly input the address in the following format: ftp://username@ip:port/ into Windows Explorer (using the username created in the User Management section).
• Finder (for MAC OS)
• File manager applications on Linux OS
• Total Commander (Android)
• Web browsers including Chrome, Firefox, and Edge... can be employed in read-only mode.
Support for File Transfer Protocol Users
Any FTP client application operating on platforms like Windows, Mac OS, Linux, or within web browsers is fully compatible with the FTP Server. Users may easily access the server via modern web browsers or various file managers, such as FileZilla, Windows Explorer, Finder (on Mac OS), and dedicated file managers on Linux and Android devices, like ES File Explorer or Astro File Manager. This widespread compatibility ensures that users can conveniently access their files across various devices regardless of the underlying operating system.
Access Folders That Can Be Modified
The flexibility to configure unique access folders for different users stands out as a significant feature of the FTP Server application. Users can opt for any folder Stored on the device, whether it's internal storage or a memory Card, deciding if it should be read-only or writable. This functionality enables users to manage precisely who has access to specific accounts and files efficiently.
