Recording Mode
Select your preferred mode in the FRep front appliCation:
Simple: records until the Power button is pressed.
Till Gap: records until a specified duration of inactivity occurs.
Progress: continuously records and creates an editable sequence that separates input gaps.
Interruption of Playing
If you need to stop replaying, you can easily interrupt by overlapping the current operation.
Usage Example
Record analog Push/Swipe/Flick gestures for automated processes, scrolling, or gestures.
Play virtual space key pushes continuously with intervals for more efficient browsing.
Preload either delayed or continuous inputs anticipating processing delays, such as those caused by CPU load or network latency.
Avoid blind zones or blurring effects created through finger operations.
Combine with automation applications via FRep's replay Shortcut or Tasker plugin.
Showcase your app on an actual device for real-time demonstrations.
Customization
Adjust notification type/icon, console dimensions/transparency, drag/flick sensitivity, default settings, and more for personalized experience.
Show/Hide Console
Once the service staRTS, FRep remAIns active in the notification area. Tapping on it will toggle the visibility of the console. When you record using the recording circle button, FRep automatically displays the console on the app being recorded. Later, playback can be initiated using the playing triangle button.
Restrict by Current App
During recording or replaying, unanticipated calls or app transitions may lead to complications. To mitigate this, FRep restricts functionality within the Phone, Google Play, and itself. You have the option to set restrictions for other applications as needed.
Initial Setup
The initial setup for FRep is essential. If your Android device is ROOTED, you may skip this section by granting superuser (su) permissions.
For setting up FRep initially or post-rebooting the Android system, a USB connection to Windows/Mac/Linux/Android is required.
Power Button
Note that FRep does not capture Power button presses, which will immediately terminate any ongoing recording or playback activities.
Features
FRep functions as a Finger Record/Replay application. Once you record a series of routine operations, you can easily replay them with a single trigger Action, enabling quick automation of your tasks.
