MAME4droid 2024 was developed by David Valdeita (Seleuco) as a port of the MAME 0.271 Emulator created by MAMEDev and its contributors. It effectively emulates various arcade games and systems like the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, MSX, among others. This version supports over 40,000 distinct ROMs.

This build of MAME4droid is intended specifically for high-performance Android devices since it is based on the latest PC MAME version, demanding higher specifications than its earlier iterations.
Even on advanced devices, do not expect newer arcade titles from the 90s onwards to always function at full speed or compatibility.
With support for over 40,000 games and systems, performance may vary significantly; some titles might run superbly while others may be non-operational. It proves challenging to support such an extensive catalog, therefore kindly refrain from reaching out for individual game support.
After installation, place your zipped MAME-titled ROMs within the /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.seleuco.mame4d2024/files/roms directory (Consult the help section for additional ROM reading options).
IMPORTANT NOTE: This version of MAME4droid exclusively utilizes the '0.269' romset and cannot support older versions’ romsets.
