Chrono Trigger is a classic role-playing game that was developed by a Dream Team of Yuji Horii, the creator of Dragon Quest, Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, and the creators of Final Fantasy. The game takes you on an adventure through different eras - the present, the middle ages, the future, prehistory, and ancient times. Whether you're a new player or a longtime fan, Chrono Trigger promises hours of thrilling gameplay.
During battles, time doesn't stop, and you must enter commands when the character's gauge is full. The enemies' positions will change as time passes, so you must choose your Actions wisely based on the situation. You can even unleash special "Tech" moves during battle, which include abilities and magic that can be combined to create all-new combo attacks. There are over 50 different types of combos that you can execute between two and three characters!
The game also features two dungeons: the Dimensional Vortex and the Lost Sanctum. The Dimensional Vortex is a mysterious, ever-changing dungeon that exists outside of space and time, and the Lost Sanctum is a series of enigmatic gates that lead you to forgotten chambers in prehistoric and medieval times. Meet the challenges presented to you, and long-lost secrets may be revealed.
While keeping the atmosphere of the original game, the graphics have been updated to higher resolution. The sound and music have also been updated under the supervision of composer Yasunori Mitsuda, providing an even more immersive gameplay experience.
