In the Android game Dark Stories, Players are required to collaborate as a cohesive unit during gameplay. Each player assumes the role of a narrator who delivers the Storyline along with specific responses to various inquiries. The remaining participants must solely listen to the narrator and pose questions pertaining to what they have just been told. As narrators, players possess the knowledge of the answers to these questions; noBody else is allowed to guess them. When responding to a query, the narrator is limited to offering only “yes”, ”no”, or ”it doesn’t matter.” By providing the correct answer, the narrator alleviates any confusion for other players, enhancing their enjoyment of the game by minimizing misunderstandings. Players can weave together multiple narratives featuring different environments into one expansive Adventure. This feature enables exploration of new mysteries while engaging with friends. They may randomly select a story or choose from an available list of narratives.
Gameplay Mechanics
Dark Stories can be enjoyed either cooperatively or competitively among friends. A single individual will be appointed as the narrator, who will select a Mystery and read its text aloud to the group. Afterward, the narrator privately reads the corresponding secret without disclosing it to the others. The rest of the players then interrogate the narrator to decipher how to solve the enigma. The narrator may only respond with Yes, No, or Not relevant to inquiries. The resolution to the mystery, provided at the end of each narrative, represents the sole method for successfully solving the Puzzle. If players find the answer unsatisfactory, they must depend on the narrator’s explanation regarding how to navigate the puzzle-solving process.

While Dark Stories offers simple and enjoyable gameplay, you need to prepare yourself for tackling some challenging puzzles in order to fully complete the game. All puzzles are fictional, and players must apply both inductive and deductive reasoning abilities to unravel the mysteries presented.

How to play
Dark Stories is Designed for group play. A person designated as the narrator selects a mystery and reads its description aloud.
The narrator then privately reviews its solution without sharing it with the group. Subsequently, the other players must ask questions to work toward solving the mystery.
The narrator is restricted to answering questions with "Yes", "No", or "It is not relevant." The sole valid solution resides on the reverse side of each mystery card. If clarification remains elusive, players will need to adhere to the narrator's interpretation of the mystery presented.
