Belligerent: You receive an increase in damage based on your level of Belligerence, along with gaining a 25% Life Steal effect for that turn.
Focus: The damage you receive increases according to your level of Focus.
Hero: Your critical hits deal maximum damage.
Ignited: You will receive a refund for all ammunition used. For each piece of ammunition refunded, you lose 2 HP. If your health drops below 2, Ignited will not activate.
Overloaded: The character enters an Overloaded state, which prevents them from using Attack cards this turn.

In terms of combat, you'll control a character who faces all foes through cards. Each turn, you draw five cards, each with different effects like attack, defense, or influencing the opponent. Starting with three pieces of ammunition, every card requires a certain amount of ammo to activate. Once you run out, you may end your turn, prompting the enemy's turn next.
